Carolina Native Nursery’s Terms of Sale For Wholesale Clients
We welcome all our wholesale clients to come for a visit. Please come, you will be happy you did!
But please do not bring or send your clients to the nursery to look at or pull plants from our wholesale area. Our retail area is a great spot for your clients to shop, ask questions, and see what is currently available. They can take a self-guided tour of the nursery too.
Please bring proof you have an established nursery, landscape, garden center or related business. Nursery License or sales tax number with your first order is welcomed and needed.
Prices
- These prices are wholesale for those purchasing plants for resale.
- Prices are F.O.B. our nursery and subject to change.
- All stock listed is subject to prior sale, quantity limitations, incorrect count, and crop limitations. This list cancels all previous quotations.
Orders
- A 25% non-refundable deposit is required for all spring pre-bookings.
- Spring orders will be entered starting November 15th. All orders must be picked-up or shipped by April 1st.
- Orders will not be held longer than two weeks except in the spring.
- A 25% restocking fee will be charged on orders that have been pulled and not received.
- All initial orders with Carolina Native Nursery are Cash on Delivery (C.O.D.).
- We gladly accept cash, checks, and credit cards. All credit cards are subject to a 3% fee.
All initial orders of Balled and Burlapped (B&B) plants placed with Carolina Native Nursery require a 50% deposit before the plants are dug and the remainder Cash on Delivery. Carolina Native Nursery will not cancel any orders for B&B plants once they have been dug.
Carolina Native Nursery Credit Policy
For those customers with established credit, terms are net 30 days from invoice date. All other orders are C.O.D. All overdue accounts are subject to interest charges of 1.5% per month, or 18% annually. Should it become necessary to file suit to enforce payment, applicant agrees that suit will be filed in Burnsville, N.C.28714 at the seller’s option and the seller will be entitled to collect from applicant court costs, attorney fees, and interest at the maximum rate allowed on all amounts found to be due and payable.

Pick Up
Open for Pick Up Monday -Friday 9:00-5:00. Please let us know prior to coming so we can have your order pulled, watered, and ready to go. Our nursery can accommodate trucks and trailers both large and small.
Delivery
Carolina Native Trucks: $1000.00 minimum order to the Asheville area. Our box trucks fully equipped to delivery your plants. All fees are based on the size of the load as well as the mileage from Carolina Native to your site. Our delivery fee to Asheville is $150 or 10% of the order, whichever is greater. We will set up a time with you and your staff for delivery. We will call 30 minutes before arrival, if needed. Please have your staff present to unload. There will be additional charges if we are abandoned to unload ourselves (and it makes our guys sad). If you are not in the immediate Asheville area, we have a $2000 order minimum and the delivery cost is 10% of the order or follows the pricing chart below:

Greenville/Spartanburg, SC – $400
Highlands/Cashiers, NC – $300
Boone/Banner Elk/Blowing Rock, NC – $250

Pallet racks: Carolina Native can drop ship pallet racks of plants anywhere in the eastern U.S. We have been doing this for years and it works great. There are no minimums but we do not like to try and ship B&B plants over 3′ tall. We can offer lift gates, residential delivery and other options for additional fees.
Partial Tractor Trailer loads: We can help with smaller loads because many of our clients are landscaping firms that only need plants for jobs rather than for a holding or re-wholesale yards. All trucks depart as full as possible and are routed carefully. Our minimum order is $4500 for all shared tractor trailer loads.
Full truck loads: No problem. We use reefer trucks from a local firm whose drivers we have used for years are great. They will call, show up on time, and are truly professional.
Claims and Returns
Liabilities and Claims: Liability ceases upon delivery to trucking company, except when delivered by us; then liability ceases upon delivery to customers. All claims shall be in writing within 48 hours of receipt of shipment. Our liability never exceeds the prices invoiced.
